Pay to play what a disappointment of my childhood

When I was a kid this was a very popular game on Nintendo DS. Like many of those games they transferred over to iOS. But this game all pay no play. Its not even fun I have to open the game every day to receive a token and enough collected I can unlock the next recipe. DAFUG! What happen to old style games that wasnt money hungry like Wall Street? You play once complete you unlock more. In this day and age money is the root of all evil.
